Emily VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her collaboration alongside the producer Greg Berlanti. Emily VanCamp first came to prominence for her work with producer Greg Berlanti, who cast her as a series regular in The WB series Everwood (2002-2006) as well as The ABC series Brothers & Sisters (2007-2010). VanCamp was able to gain more fame by playing the role as Emily Thorne, the main role in ABC's Revenge series from 2011 until 2015. From the year 2018 until 2021, VanCamp played the role of Emily Thorne on The Resident, a Fox medical drama The Resident. Additionally, VanCamp played Sharon Carter/ Agent 13as the Power Broker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. VanCamp became interested in acting after she visited her sister Katie at The Ladies Room set. The actress began attending acting classes during the week on a Saturday, contacted an agent and, after doing a couple of commercials, she was offered a role in the second part of a special three-part episode of the Canadian children's anthology series, Are You Afraid Of the Dark? known as "The Silver Sight" In the show, VanCamp acted opposite 17-year-old Elisha Cuthbert.
