In the category of "Best Actress She was awarded the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her part in the role of a character "Zero Dark Thirty". She is known for her portrayals of tough women with flaws. Her characters often advocate feminist ideals. She is a feminist with a strong voice. is famous for her outspoken advocacy for equality in pay, and has rejected works which she felt were offering her unfair pay.
