Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in the year 1980. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native, born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered a passion to perform on a young stage. When she was in 1992, she was the first to go to an audition. The audition was for an appearance of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent when she was just thirteen years old. Bell was later cast for newspaper ads and commercials on TV. In addition to taking private lessons in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell played a small part that was not credited to her in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a member of the Drama and Music Club in Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the leading Dorothy part. Bell went to The Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater within New York City. Bell, who graduated in 2001, decided to leave her college studies in order to take on in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene has been cut out and only the credits show her. Bell appeared part of the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
