Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job after leaving school was working in the industry of real estate. Tarek al Moussa was the partner in the future. They were extremely successful up until 2008's stock market crash when many real estate developers and house flippers collapsed. Tarek El Moussa, and Christina El Moussa lost the majority of their assets as a result of the 2008 market collapse. After moving from a house that cost them $6,000 per year to a place that was $700, they nearly lost all their possessions. The economy and their business as a whole slowly recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek sought out a partner to help him make the HGTV audition tape that showed the two of them Christina turning a house the beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. The executives fell in adore with Tarek & Christina. They signed a formal agreement with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" was launched in April of 2013. In the seven seasons that ran from 2013 and 2017 the show was broadcast in 92 episodes. The show featured Christina and Tarek buying properties in Orange County. They would invest weeks in transforming the homes in order to make them for profits. Tarek does the deconstruction and remodeling while Christina concentrates on style while also making sure everything stays on schedule.
